Global Conversations

The big global questions, talked through in the open

How do we keep nuclear weapons from ever being used again? Who holds power to account when governments will not? What would it take for the world to govern itself fairly? Global Conversations takes questions like these out of the conference room and into an open online discussion that anyone can join.

Four times a year, Citizens for Global Solutions brings scholars, practitioners, advocates and thought leaders together on one pressing challenge: peace and disarmament, climate action, democratic global governance, world citizenship, or the role of civil society in changing the system. Each conversation traces the history behind an issue and asks what can be done about it now.

You do not need to be an expert, or a member, to take part. Bring your curiosity and your questions, and leave with a clearer picture of the ideas and reforms that could make the world more peaceful, just, democratic and sustainable.
