The ImPACT Coalition on Just Institutions and the International Court of Justice held its first session, timed for participants in the Asia-Pacific region. This coalition was established at the 2024 UN Civil Society Conference in Nairobi to advance the role of international courts and tribunals through the UN Summit of the Future in September 2024 and beyond.
About This Conversation
The ImPACT Coalition supports the universality and effectiveness of global judicial architecture, building on the Legal Alternatives to War (LAW not War) campaign co-led by Citizens for Global Solutions. The coalition brings together civil society organizations, legal experts, and government stakeholders to promote peaceful dispute resolution and strengthen international accountability mechanisms.
