What is Mondial?
Mondial, published semi-annually, invites thought leaders to provide insights into our most pressing global challenges. This Journal primarily focuses on world federation, disarmament and peace, human rights, United Nations Reform, strengthening international institutions and world law, and the environment. Drawing its name from the French word meaning “of or involving the whole world,” Mondial serves as a Journal with a shared common vision advocating for a democratic world federation.

Mondial is published by the Citizens for Global Solutions (CGS) and World Federalist Movement — Canada (WFM-Canada), non-profit, non-partisan, and non-governmental Member Organizations of the World Federalist Movement-Institute for Government Policy (WFM-IGP). The citizens for Global Solutions Education Fund, formerly the World Federalist Association, has stood for international peace and security since 1947. Our mission is to educate and advocate for a democratic federation of nations with enforceable world law to abolish war and global violence, in the resolution of disputes, protect universal human rights and freedoms, and restore and sustain our global environment.
Interested in Contributing to Mondial?
We seek articles that are aligned with Mondial’s World Federalist mission and readership on relevant topics related to current events or contemporary global issues, offering a fresh perspective or a novel approach to a topic. Articles should be well-written, easy to follow and engaging, and appropriately referenced with credible sources and supporting evidence, and requiring only copy-level editing. All articles should use the language of diplomacy.
