An intergenerational online panel that examines the intersectionality of gender, class, and social policy around inadequate housing, discriminatory laws, and systemic inequities around health for women. The discussion will also spotlight effective grassroots strategies and movements in Peru and Brazil that are actively expanding women’s access to justice, equity, and inclusion across the region’s diverse contexts.

This panel is part of the NGO CSW Forum, which is organized by and for global civil society, non-governmental organizations, and feminists to connect them with the official United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UN CSW) process. The seventieth session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 9 to 19 March 2026. The Priority theme: Ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural barriers
