Donate / Membership
Your donation supports our vision of a democratic world federation
CGS offers two distinct membership opportunities that work hand in hand to create meaningful global impact. While the CGS Education Fund builds capacity and nurtures leadership through our programs, the CGS Action Network channels that leadership into tangible advocacy and action. Together, they form a dynamic ecosystem of learning and doing, uniting people who are committed to creating lasting, positive change.
All donations to the CGS Education Fund, regardless of amount, qualify for CGS membership. Contributions are tax-deductible through our registered 501(c)(3). Each dontation, no matter the level, directly supports youth programs that foster peace and sustainability through education, mentorship, and leadership development. Together, we empower young people who don’t just imagine change, they create it.
The CGS Action Network offers a separate membership through a registered 501(c)(4) organization focused on civic engagement and policy action. Members of the Action Network mobilize to raise their voices, advocate for reform, and influence the systems that shape our world. Because this membership supports direct advocacy, contributions are not tax-deductible.

Matching Gifts
Many companies have programs through which they will “match” the charitable contributions made by their employees. Check with your company’s Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching. If so, they should provide you with a matching gift form to send along with your donation.
Wills
You can perpetuate your support of Citizens for Global Solutions after your lifetime through a deferred gift and thereby become a member of our Norman Cousins Club, an honor role of those who have made deferred gifts to Citizens for Global Solutions.
It is often the case that members who contribute faithfully each year also want to arrange for a larger contribution at the time of their death by establishing a planned gift. Such an act of charity can be done simply and easily by leaving a legacy for Citizens for Global Solutions in your will. In many cases, this can be done through specific mention of Citizens for Global Solutions when you draw up your will, or by adding a simple amendment – a “Codicil” – to your existing will.
Benefits of a bequest are that it is simple, and it can reduce the tax burden on your estate. The cost of the bequest to your heirs may well be substantially lower than its dollar amount because any such bequest is fully deductible from the donor’s estate.
Life Insurance and Revocable Trusts
You may also support the work of Citizens for Global Solutions by naming CGS as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy or revocable trust. Contact your insurance provider or estate planner to arrange this.
