Join Citizens for Global Solutions
When you become a CGS member, you join a community dedicated to cultivating informed, empowered, and compassionate world citizens. Your membership directly supports CGS programs that prepare young people to engage meaningfully in international affairs, advocate for reform at the United Nations, and lead with vision, empathy, and integrity.
For over 75 years, CGS has brought together individuals who believe in a more just, peaceful, and democratic world. Our members are the foundation of that work.
Where your membership goes
Youth Leadership
Your support funds programs like the Global Governance Fellowship and World Citizen Clubs, where students learn to research, debate, and advocate on real global policy issues. These programs build the next generation of changemakers.
Education & Sustainability
Members help CGS engage youth in global policymaking alongside civil society partners and governments, strengthening environmental governance and promoting sustainable solutions to our shared challenges.
Democratic Governance
Your membership fuels educational programs and advocacy that engage citizens in dialogue and action on global cooperation, UN reform, and building more democratic and accountable international institutions.

The CGS Action Network is a separate 501(c)(4) organization focused on civic engagement and direct policy action. Action Network members mobilize to advocate for reform and influence the systems that shape our world.
Action Network membership is distinct from Education Fund membership:
-
- Dues support direct lobbying and advocacy activities
- Contributions are NOT tax-deductible
- Members elect the Action Network board
- Standard dues: $25/year | Student: $5/year
If you are primarily interested in supporting CGS’s educational programs and youth initiatives, the Education Fund membership above is the best fit. The Action Network is for those who want to be specifically involved in CGS’s legislative advocacy and lobbying work.
