ACTION: Grab your phone; ask Congress to fully fund Peacekeeping!
Since 2004, the world has leaned on the African Union Mission in Sudan (AMIS) to monitor the situation in Darfur as it discussed a more long-term, robust U.N. peacekeeping force.
On September 30, an AMIS base in Darfur came under attack. Twelve South African peacekeepers lost their lives.
It is past time to recognize that we owe international peacekeepers both our gratitude and the resources and support they need to be successful. Click here to learn more about the situation in Darfur.
